General

Our clinical team has national expertise on the safe management of COVID-19. From the very start of the pandemic, we have been carefully following the governments advice on conferences and educational events. We regularly do risk assessments on the courses and venues and will adapt quickly and safely to any changes in the guidance. Shortly after placing a booking you should receive an automated booking confirmation alongside your electronic ticket. If you didn’t receive either of these please check your junk mailbox before contacting us. 

The fastest way to secure your place is to use a credit/debit card to purchase your course via our website. If your employer has a company card then we’d recommend they use it to make the purchase on your behalf.

If your employer wishes to make payment via bank transfer/BACS, and requires an invoice from us first, then please select ‘Pay By Invoice‘ at checkout.

We will generate an invoice for your training place, which can then be sent to your employer for payment.

NOTE: Please ensure you submit the correct billing details for your employer, and that you provide a Purchase Order Number (if required by them). 

Your training place will not be secured until the funds have cleared in our account.

If you can’t make the course anymore then please let us know as soon as possible using our Contact Form.

We operate a waiting list for all our courses. If your preferred date is sold out, and you’re unable to make any other date, then please complete our Contact Form requesting to be added to the course waiting list.

Login instructions are sent to delegates alongside their certificate of attendance. If you no longer have this e-mail the please complete our Contact Form stating:

  • Your full name
  • The course you attended with us
  • The date of the course

Shortly after completing your booking you will be sent an automated booking confirmation e-mail alongside an electronic ticket.

Minor Surgery

Both our Minor Surgery Course and our Minor Surgery Distance Course include DOPS Assessments, which are sometimes a CCG/NHS England requirement for NHS practitioners claiming for these procedures under the Minor Surgery GP Directly Enhanced Service.

Our Minor Surgery Courses will cover all the practical elements, techniques and guidance required to perform Minor Surgery, however they are not postgraduate qualifications or diploma level courses.

The training requirements to practice minor surgery independently vary both between and within professions; some require higher education (i.e. a diploma), some require training such us our own followed by employer competency based assessment/sign-off, and some (generally Independent Practitioners/Doctors) only require our training, supported by local mentorship, reflective practice, audit and appraisal.

Your regulatory body, insurer and employer should be able to advise on your individual training requirements.

Our Minor Surgery Courses are open to delegates of all nationalities, and we regularly have international delegates attending.

Yes! We are always delighted to have Medical Students and Foundation Years attending our Minor Surgery Course.

The minor surgery course welcomes a range of healthcare professionals from range of disciplines. We have welcomed Paramedics, Pharmacists, Nurses, ANPs, HCAs and many more professionals in the past. You are all very welcome to attend.

We usually have a range of international delegates from all parts of the globe. The majority of the course is about the surgical skills for minor skin surgery, and are transferable across the world. There is a small (10-15 min) section on NHS practices and contracts which our international delegates have always found very interesting

If you have enough delegates (more than 19), we can run a bespoke course for you. Whether this is your practice, PCN, CCG or even a group of friends, we can deliver this course with all materials just for you. This can be anywhere in the UK or internationally, and can work out more economically versatile for individuals and groups. Get in touch and see what we can do for you.

Joint Injection

Our Joint Injection Courses will cover all the practical elements, techniques and guidance required to perform Joint Injections, however they are not postgraduate qualifications or diploma level courses.

Botulinum Toxin & Dermal Fillers

These courses are only open to GMC, GDC, NMC, HCPC, and GPhC registered healthcare professionals.

Our Botulinum Toxin and Dermal Fillers courses are not post graduate or degree level qualifications. The training requirements to provide these treatments independently vary from profession to profession; some require higher education and a period of mentoring, whereas some are only required to self-assess their own competency. As a general rule Practitioners are able to self-assess, although you must take advice from your regulatory body and insurers beforehand.

Our Botulinum Toxin and Dermal Fillers Courses are open to Doctors of all nationalities. Overseas Doctors will be required to produce evidence of their medical qualification. We are unable to offer this course to other overseas healthcare professionals.

We do not accept students on this course. We accept trainees with a valid GMC, GDC, NMC, HCPC, and GPhC registration.
