Course Terms and Conditions

1. Introduction 

These terms and conditions govern the sale and provision of  training courses by Medical Skills Care Ltd (“we”, “us”, “our”). By enrolling in a course, you (“you”, “your”, or “Participant”) agree to these terms and conditions in full.

2. Course Enrolment and Fees

a. Enrolment in a course is only confirmed upon receipt of full payment of the course fee.

b. Your booking is not confirmed until you receive an Order Complete email from us.

c. Course fees include access to training materials, assessment, and certification.

d. Course places are allocated on a first-come-first-served basis.

e. Unless stated otherwise, access to our Online Course materials will expire 2 years after the date of purchase.

3. Payment 

a. Payment can be made via Stripe, Paypal, or Bank Transfer.

b. All prices are in GBP and inclusive of VAT unless otherwise stated.

4. Course Reschedules

a. All requests to reschedule your course must be made to us in writing, by e-mailing info@medicalskillscourses.com or completing our Contact Form.

• Reschedule requests received up to 4 weeks before the course will be subject to a £35 rescheduling fee.
• Reschedule requests received between 2 – 4 weeks before the course will be subject to a £100 rescheduling fee.
• Reschedule requests received between 1 – 2 weeks before the course will be subject to a £200 rescheduling fee.
• Any reschedule requests received less than 1 week before the course will not be accepted.

5. Course Cancellations

a. All requests to cancel your course must be made to us in writing by e-mailing info@medicalskillscourses.com or completing our Contact Form.

• Cancellations received up to 4 weeks before the course date will be granted a full refund, less a £35 administration fee.
• Cancellations received up to 2 weeks before the course will be granted a 50% refund.
• Cancellations received up to 1 week before the course will be granted a 25% refund.
• For cancellations received less than 1 week before the course, no refund will be granted.- 

c. No refunds will be granted for courses charged at £35 or less.

d. No refunds will be granted for Online Courses.

e. In the unlikely event that we have to cancel, reschedule, or change the time, date or location of a course or event, registered delegates will be given the option of either a full refund for the cost of the course, or be offered the next available date.

5. Intellectual Property

a. All course materials are the intellectual property of Medical Skills Care Ltd. and are intended for personal educational use only.

b. Redistribution or reproduction of part or all of the contents in any form is prohibited other than for individual use.

6. Liability

a. Medical Skills Care Ltd. will not be liable for any loss or damage arising from the Participant’s failure to comply with these terms and conditions.

b. Medical Skills Care Ltd. will not be liable for any loss or damage arising from a course cancellation, reschedule or change to course time, date or location.

7. Dispute Resolution

a. Any disputes related to these terms and conditions will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the United Kingdom.

8. Data Protection

a. Personal data provided will be handled in accordance with our privacy policy and relevant data protection legislation.

b. Recordings (both audio and video) are sometimes made of training sessions for the purposes of those sessions, to create material to train others, to improve the training itself or to support and promote the course and those providing the training.

9. Miscellaneous

a. These terms and conditions may be amended by Medical Skills Card Ltd. at any time.

b. If any part of these terms and conditions is unenforceable, the enforceability of any other part of these conditions will not be affected.
